Magnificent waterfalls, divine birdlife, and endless tranquillity; it’s no wonder Victoria Falls is one of the world’s seven wonders. But this time, there’s an even better reason to pack a bag, leave all that is stressful behind, and immerse yourself into soulful equanimity. Nature, and Virginia, calls on all who want to escape the hustle of city life at the end of July 2022.

Renew your soul in Africa

This is where it all comes together. Imagine the serene view of the gorge at your toe tips, the smell of nature and aromatherapy oils as you breathe deep, the gentle echo of singing bowls, and the grounding of your mind and body into the ground below.

Idyllically nestled above the Zambezi River is Taita Falcon Lodge, perfectly situated in the heart of Zambia and just 11 kilometres downriver from the Victoria Falls.

A well-rounded sanctuary

Along the winding stone pathways, intimate lanterns lead you toward your secluded chalet overlooking the dramatic cliffs of the Batoka Gorge.  All chalets have private gardens, stone bathrooms, lounges, and 5-star décor and service.

Awake to the anticipation of an early morning Hatha yoga session to restore your mind, body, and soul. Then, before your grand adventure, a delicious breakfast awaits to nourish your body. Take an enriching cultural tour to a village and a guided gorge hike into the valley for a day, after which lunch is served. As the afternoon nears, a Yin yoga session awaits where you can meditate on the day’s happenings and let nature heal and renew your energy. Once the African sunset grazes the horizon, a hearty dinner awaits to conclude the wholesome day. And just to ensure everything comes full circle, you can get even closer to nature under the gentle sprinkle of the private outdoor shower.
